A young boy with a big heart wants police officers to feel better after responding to a shooting rampage.
Brady Duke, 7, gave up his most-prized possession to the Wassau police department to help the officers cope: his Wii gaming system.
“I felt sad because i didn’t want somebody to die that was somebody that protected a city,” said Duke. “I knew i had to do something because their police brother died.”
Deputy Chief Ben Bliven is making sure Brady’s gift goes to good use. “We’re encouraging our officers to come in and take a break and play some video games and kind of destress a little bit,” said Bliven.
The officers invited Brady to come play Wii with them at the department on Monday.
