Video game giants EA and Nexon are announcing a new joint project tomorrow morning – Telegraph.co.uk
While exact details are limited, and all we know for certain is that something is going to happen, a countdown has appeared online that is pointing to a new announcement for early morning on November 2. At 2:00 am GMT, the timer will tick on down to zero, and something will be announced from a collaboration between Electronic Arts (EA)Â and Nexon.
EAÂ are a company responsible for developing and publishing video games across a number of platforms, based in the US, while Nexon develop and publish games for a primarily South Korean audience, with a few titles released worldwide. Their projects are typically MMOs, Massively Multiplayer Online games, that have a huge player base coming back regularly to play alongside others from around the globe.
While we don’t know what the announcement will be, this won’t be the first time EA and Nexon have worked together, and we have some good ideas on what they might be doing. FIFA Online 3, for example, is an online football game popular in South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, and more countries, developed by EA and EA Spearhead (a South Korean EA studio) and published (in part) by Nexon. A sequel or update to the game is certainly a possibility.
