Xbox One Backwards Compatibility: SIX new games, PS4 content boost, Black Ops 2 update – Express.co.uk
Xbox One Backwards Compatibility has been boosted by Microsoft again this week, providing gamers with new classic titles to play, although that doesn’t means PS4 fans don’t have anything to look forward too.
Xbox One owners can now download and play Assassin’s Creed Revelations, Darksiders, Darksiders 2, Daytona USA, Stacking and Tower Bloxx Deluxe.
And even better both Assassin’s Creed Revelations and Darksiders will be available to Games with Gold subscribers in April.
Darksiders makes its debut on April 1 until midnight on April 15, followed by Assassin’s Creed Revelations on April 16 until April 30.
It’s Microsoft policy that all featured Games with Gold titles are made playable on the Xbox One, the tech giant recently confirmed this by placing on all the listed titles on the completed BC list.
While not as big a number of titles as February, it shows Microsoft’s continued support for the program is strong, going into its second year.
Unlike February however, this month has not seen any eye-catching games make their debut, February included both Borderlands 2, HITMAN Absolution and GTA IV.
This could be partly down to third-party publishers deciding when their games can be released via Xbox One Backwards Compatibility.
