Battlegrounds Xbox One release date intact as PUBG celebrates new milestone – Express.co.uk
PUGB continues to be a major seller on PC, with Battlegrounds on Xbox One also in the works.
Highlighting its continuing success, Bluehole, Inc., announced today that as of September 1, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has sold over 10 million units since its Steam Early Access launch on March 23, 2017.
PUBG also set a new mark for peak concurrent users (e.g. CCU) with over 970,000, highlighted by the strong reception at the PUBG Invitational at gamescom 2017.
And this is all good news for Microsoft, who will see Battlegrounds on Xbox One release later this year.
While a solid launch date has yet to be announced, Bluehole Inc. provided an update today that confirms the PUBG console version is still on schedule.
As you might already know, Battlegrounds is launching on Xbox One as part of the Xbox Game Preview program in late 2017, with the final version launching in early 2018 across the Xbox One family of devices.
