During the warmer seasons, there are always a handful of drinking with dog events to enjoy. This week’s happening is at Freehouse. During Tuesday’s yappy hour, leashed dogs are welcome. They’ll be treated freebies from Raw Bistro Pet Fare, and can chill with other pups. Meanwhile, humans can enjoy food and drink specials. 5th Annual North Hat Release Party
In 2013, North Loop retailer Askov Finlayson made a hat for a good cause, and they’ve been doing it anually ever since. This week, they’re celebrating the release of their 2018 take. The hat party will feature beer from Bent Paddle Brewing Co., free pizza from Northern Fires, prizes, a limited-edition pint glassand live sets from BBGUN outside. A portion of the proceeds from the evening’s raffle, beer, and other sales will benefit Climate Generation: A Will Steger Legacy, which seeks to educate and work toward impacting policy concerning climate change. 90s Preservation Society 4.0
After the Jager shitstorm, the 90s Preservation Society has landed at Byte nearby. The DJs will be spinning classic bangers as well as deep cuts, covering the era’s genres: alternative, pop, hip-hop, and techno. Video projections from music videos will add to the ambience.
