Nintendo Switch stock update: Why shortages could be a GOOD thing for fans – Express.co.uk
Nintendo Switch stock shortages might not actually be a bad thing, especially if Nintendo’s latest comments are anything to go by.
While stores like GameStop and Toys R Us have been receiving Nintendo Switch stock in the US, UK stock has been much harder to come by.
But with numerous users reporting left Joy-Con connectivity issues, some fans may have dodged a bullet by missing out on early Nintendo Switch stock.
Nintendo had previously denied that the issues were widespread, with Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aimé recently saying that he doesn’t believe the problem is a significant one.
But in a recent update, Nintendo has now said that it has identified the problem and has altered the manufacturing process.
With Nintendo Switch stock selling out fast, it shouldn’t take long for the new and improved units to go on sale, and the problem to go away.
Fans who wait a month or two for the new stock will also have a bigger games list to choose from, with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Puyo Puyo Tetris both coming out in April.
