Over twenty years later, Day of the Tentacle is back in a remastered edition that features all new hand-drawn, high resolution artwork, with remastered audio, music and sound effects. Players can switch back and forth between classic and remastered modes, and mix and match audio, graphics and user interface to their heart’s desire.
How they rate: This War of Mine: Little Ones has a metascore of 78, which includes a perfect score. The reviewers praise the powerful narrative, although not everybody is keen on the controls.
Day of the Tentacle fares even better, scoring an impressive 84% on Metacritic. Reviews call it a charming game that shows other developers how remasters should be done.
