Xbox One news: Games with Gold March, Mass Effect Andromeda multiplayer, Project Scorpio – Express.co.uk
The Mass Effect Andromeda multiplayer mode has yet to be fully unveiled by BioWare, however some facts are starting to filter through.
A member of the ME: Andromeda development team recently confirmed that while players won’t be able to change any faces in multiplayer, there will be some form of customisation.
Producer Fernando Melo failed to go into much detail past that fact, except to add that they’ll be plenty of jumping enemies to slay with Salarians wielding swords.
It was recently revealed that Mass Effect Andromeda single-player mode will not have a level cap, meaning fans will need to play through the game multiple times to unlock and max-out every skill available.
The BioWare team have also confirmed that body customisation will not be on the cards for Single-player mode and likely extends to multiplayer mode.
And that’s not the only big news confirmed recently, with creative director Mac Walters telling Official Xbox Magazine (via GamesRadar) that planets will have whole separate stories that players can go off and enjoy.
“So we want to have high stakes, and there are high stakes in the sense that if you don’t succeed in your role, that’s it for humanity, and potentially every other species that came from the Milky Way in Andromeda, he said.
“But we also don’t have to go right to raising the stakes to – you know, two hours in ‘hey, you’ve got this best friend and this best friend, which one do you want to die and which one do you want to survive?’
